Calculation and measurement limits
Calculator outputs depend on the inputs, units, rounding, and method used. They may not reflect stock variation, saw kerf, waste, defects, grain direction, moisture movement, joinery choices, hardware instructions, or job-site conditions unless those factors are specifically included. Verify important dimensions and quantities against the actual material and the relevant manufacturer instructions before cutting or ordering.
Unless a calculator explicitly describes a different function, a linear cut list addresses lengths along stock and does not promise a two-dimensional nesting layout for sheet goods. Cost outputs are estimates from entered values, not supplier quotes or guaranteed prices.
Sources and professional review
Where a calculator identifies a formula, source, assumption, or limitation, that information applies to the named tool and its stated scope. A source reference does not mean that a standards body, manufacturer, trade organization, or other third party has reviewed or endorsed Woodworking Calculator. The site does not represent its calculators as certifications, inspections, or professional sign-offs.
Advertising, affiliate links, and sponsored material
If advertising, an affiliate link, sponsorship, or other compensated placement appears on a page, the relationship should be identified on or near that material. A link or product mention is not, by itself, a claim of endorsement. This page explains how such relationships will be identified; it does not mean that every page contains paid material.
